Keep up the routine even after delivery. Massage your tummy as get back in shape. Don't try too fast, often times its the fast increase and decrease that causes stretch marks. Give your skin time to adjust and slowly get back to its normal state. Keep up the routine with lots of water and real cocoa butter for moisturizer.

My stretch marks didn't appear until after I had my son and I started to lose the wait. Everyone is different, though. I used cocoa butter and it might have made the stretch marks better, but didn't stop them. Wish I could suggest something that might work better, but don't know of anything. I think it all has to do with how much weight you gain during the pregnancy. Which doesn't mean you shouldn't gain the necessary weight - just eat smart.

I'd say your in the clear. Some people say stretch marks are hereditary and that using cocoa butter won't make a difference, but that didn't stop me from using it with both of my pregnancies and coming out stretch mark free. We shouldn't tempt fate, right?

Girl, I don't even know what to say to you!! I had stretch marks at 8 weeks, and used that cocoa stuff, too.

I did get stretch marks on my stomach at the very end of my pregnancy (gave brith on due date). They were very light, but there.

You can also get marks by losing weight too quickly, so don't do that.

lucky you!
You may still get them, as the baby is really growing fast right now, but if you have none so far you probably won't. Your moisturizing would really have helped you here, it kept the skin subtle.
By the way, you won't get stretch marks after the baby is born because the skin is no longer stretching. What often happens is people don't notice their stretchmarks because of either location and lack of view / flexibility, or they are very faint initially but then redden due to increased blood flow after birth. They will faint to a silvery colour eventually and won't be that noticeable. You also don't need to be pregnant to get them.

I know alot of women that got stretch marks AFTER they had their baby. I guess I'm lucky enough to not be one of them. I used cocoa butter as well. And baby oil too.

inspite of what people think of...creams/water/nutrition E do no longer avert stretch marks. The lotion and water is meant to ease the itchiness, makes the floor slightly greater elastic, and aids interior the visual charm of the stretchmarks you will in all hazard get (in different words they had be worse in case you probably did no longer use the lotion). as quickly as your pores and skin hits the factor of finished extension, you will get stretch marks and there is not any longer something you're able to do approximately it. a great sort of it comes right down to genetics. you are able to thank your mom for passing that right down to you. After care is greater important. Water and lotion after the delivery with help interior the floor no longer being as itchy...as itching could reason the wear to be worse. it is likewise important to keep away from direct sunlight on the stretchmarks. You may end up with stretch marks, or you may not. If you do, they'll likely show up after you're back to "normal" after giving birth. Hopefully, though, your efforts with the cocoa butter will minimize them. Good job!
