That might depend on what ages you and he are. How stable is your relationship? Do you have protection? Have either of you tested positive for any venereal deseases? Are you feeling pressured into sex? If you should become pregnant are you ready to have a child? Is he capable of supporting you during the pregnacy and you and the child? Do you have any job or school plans that you both can give up for a family? Do you feel sex is a step in a relationship that will indicate an amount of commitment?
These are kind of downers but unless you and he can talk about them all then you may not be ready.

It depends how old you are...Over 18 no its not too early (unless you are a virgin then wait for something that you know for sure its real) if you are under 18 I'm not going to tell you not to have sex but I'd make sure you really trust this guy so it doesnt damage you emotionally.

If you are not married, it is always too early to have sex. There is nothing made that protects 100% against pregnancy, so having sex outside of marriage is really like playing Russian Roulette with your lives and the life of any child, who may be born in the process.

Yes it is too early, and you're young if he pulls something like saying that if you LOVE him you won't deny him that's bull because if he loves you he'd wait. I'm 17 and I'm not giving anything to anyone until it's right to.

If you really wanted to have sex, then you wouldn't have asked for the opinions of others...

You thought twice about doing, so obviously you aren't ready...

Try having "fun" without sex...

Good luck!!

I think, judging by your question and the way you've asked it, that you are too young to be having sex. Please make an appointment at Planned Parenthood to talk to someone about sex and its implications. Here's a link:

sounds like you are too young. consider what might happen if you become pregnant or contract an STD. why not just have fun without adding sex?

no. depends on whether u are ready for it or not. that does not mean u should just assume that because u have been dating for a while that it is sufficient enough time.
