Att/cingular, verizon, and sprint are all selling the mobile broadband at the same price and same guidelines. Where is the competition?

That Is the competition! they are selling their Internet at rock bottom low prices, Yes it is still expensive, but they can't lower it or they will loose money. It was a competition at one point and then they got to their bottom low and that is where it will stay. Hope this answers your question....You spelled monopoly

Just ask them. By all accounts, Verizon is largely kicking the pants off of the other providers in most markets, although finally ATT/Cingular is at least making a reasonable showing. Competition in the wireless industry is mostly based upon price (you'll notice that some providers with perceived or actual inferior service are charging less for their service) and quality of service. In this case, its the quality that differentiates the companies. THAT is where the competition is, not in the price wars.
