First step listen, listening is always wonderful.
Have a sense of humor... Girls love to laugh
Brush of something from their shoulder or arm....touching always a plus.

Know your audience. Then, flirting is easy. It is the promise of a promise. You offer a hint of it but never give more than a hint for the flirt to be persuasive. Sexual flirting must contain the hint that it could be a possibility, not probability. Flirting with death implies you are the audience and the hint of death must be a possibility, not probability again.

Just be yourself. And relax. The key to flirting is to not think too hard about it and just be somewhat impulsive and flattering.

Historically, you are to late. Asking this ques. in "History" would make it apparent intelligence isn't your forte. Hopefully you have some physical attributes, in which case, if you got 'em , flaunt 'em.

well historicaly.. you club her on the head and drag her to your cave by the hair! that is how our ancestors did it for hundreds of tousands of years... very very recently they have started requiring flowers... so give her flowers THEN club her on the head
