well, really several lately. i used to use a site, but it no longer exists.
does anyone know of a good dream interp site (where they do it for you) or does anyone do dream interps? (serious answers only please... i dont want to eff around with people being stupid.)
ive done interps for other people but i can never do them for myself.

Dreams, even universal ones, have specific individual characteristics to them that make it difficult for others to interpret.
Therefore, not everyone who dreams of stairs (especially stairs in a specific location) is going to have the exact same interpretation given to them, or should.
Even desires and motivations, which are universal, are filtered through the unique human experience that the dreamer brings to it: how you feel about desire (as opposed to someone else) can significantly alter its purpose when it appears in your dream, and how you consequently deal with the imagery when you awake.
The best way to do personal dream interpretation is to find a book (or site) whose definitions of imagery you can 'train' your mind to respond to. By thus reading (and you will be subconsciously reading it as well) what seems 'familiar' to you, your brain will latch onto that set pattern (since each dream book is a pattern unique from others) and you will consequently learn how to 'talk' with yourself.
It is very much like teaching your subconscious self a language. Once your conscious and subconsciousness are speaking the same language, knowledge and understanding can begin to take place.
