My teacher in 7th grade had one on her wall. There are all kinds of offers for them on eBay. They have animals and are really pretty. I think they are watercolor. Also, you might find an artist that does them at a fair, festival, or a tourist place. Most people I know that have them had them done in Hawaii. Good luck!

Have you tried simply typing in the letter into a search engine (under the images section in www.ask.com is good) and I have seen something similar on the www.bored.com website but cannot remember what it was called or the section it was under. If you type a name/word into it then it turns the letters to shapes etc for you.

(an Eifel Tower).... (an umbrella)..... (a bear, leaning against a tree)

That's my initials- AJB...

Just make up something- it could be a lot of fun. You could even go with a theme-

If you dance, you could use body silouettes... two people leaning against each other, holding hands for an A

Or if you're a Midieval fan, you could use ideas from that genre... one of those princess cone-head hats for the A...

Or if you're into art, use things that are used in art- an easle for an A...

Or...

I don't think there's any set way you have to do it... it's YOUR room, do what YOU like!

Save the fuss and do it yourself. You've already outlined the concept and some examples in you question.
