Thank God the Pats signed Thomas but really, i just read that there offering Wes Welker 5yrs 32mill. Are you joking, hes not that good and their expecting him to step in and play better then Caldwell, give me a break?

I am not even going to pretend to know who Wes Walker is but my guess would be that he could catch a WIDE open pass or a WIDE open TD pass. I think they should give him a 1 year deal and let him prove himself.

They need to revamp the WRs...Reche Caldwell was shaky when it mattered most...against the Colts in the AFC Championship...Troy Brown was once the go to guy for Brady, but is getting older...probably a year or 2 left at the most...I must have missed something about Doug Gabriel...Why the hell did they let him go?...He was developing a chemistry with Brady...

welker had a career year last year and became a very good target catching short passes, which is a lot of what the patriots do, so he is a good fit for their system, plus he is a very dangerous return man...and besides, the pats have won three super bowls under this front office, where do you get off telling them who and who not to sign?

don't compare welker to caldwell. welker wouldn't drop an easy TD in a championship game or another one when he literally was completely open.

I didn't hear those figures, however i heard the pats are interested. As a phins fan i don't want to see wes go up north, however at those figures you threw out, that would be GREAT ! and we'll enjoy your second round pick as well !
The Pats wasting money . . . . . . . . . . PRICELESS ! ! !

"Richochet" Caldwell wasn't very consistent..So Welker may be a good choice after all.
