OK I joined this group to find this answer to this dilemma....I messed with a guy who has now become my landlord...I avoided him like the plague after he became my landlord to avoid any complications...he showed up to my apt unexpectedly to me to "view it" after someone on another floor called him to fix something with the boiler or whatever....we ended up messing around...he had already lowered my rent 100 bucks at the beginning...now I'm wondering should I pay him rent...I have no lease with him...its after the first of the month...he hasn't asked me for the money? Should I wait and see if he asks and should I be obligated to pay a guy I'm messing with?...I tried to avoid this situation from happening now I need to know what to do...advice from guys is helpful too!

If you sleep with your landlord and don't pay him, it means you are a prostitute. It means if you ever get a boyfriend and stop sleeping with him he will be pissed and your living situation will suddenly become more complicated. He might try to charge you accumulated rent. And did I mention PROSTITUTE? Just pay him if you want to be any sort of respectable and self-reliant person.

Are you for real? Well, if you are, you already gave up the goodies, too late to turn back now. Just get drunk beforehand, lol. and think of the free rent. On a serious note, you've crossed a line sweety that you shouldn't have. This situation has a high potential to do downhill from here. If I were you, I would leave. Ciao! Good Luck!

What am wondering is if the landlord is the owner of the residence you live in? Because if he is just a landlord and not the owner he doesn't have any say so and you need to pay. Know if he is the owner and your getting your grove don't pay if he doesn't ask, sooner or later he or you will get tired and then you will have move out and start paying rent else where. So I say don't pay save the money enjoy the sex and live happy.

you need to pay the rent. he may feel that you and him messing
around should not affect the fact that he has a job to do. if he
has lowered your rent 100. then be happy and pay the man
his money. other wise you might be in trouble down the road
especially if things dont work out. keept things simple and
then you wont get in hot water.

Make up a contract where you both agree that you pay him in sex funds. Make sure you limit the number of sessions monthly so he can't demand more. Perhaps you'd have to sleep an additional time with him if he raises the rent on you one day. But I'm sure you wouldn't mind that......sure better than paying the extra cash.

As long as your willing to mess around with him, why should he ask for rent? But you can also have him arrested for, soliciting, sex in return for your rent.
But if you have no lease , then why do you stay? If you have no lease ,you are also not obligated to pay it.

one has nothing to do with the other....accepting a rent decrease for sex is a form of prostitution....you should pay your rent.
