what a girl will look like when she gets older by looking at her mother?

Definitely! Daughters always look like their mothers when they grow older! It's kinda weird, because they don't look anything like them when they're younger , mostly. I didn't look anything like my mom when i was younger, but the older i get I look more like her !

My experience that there is a good chance that this is the case (though I wouldn't have believed it earlier). In particular, faces and facial expressions seem to revert to type within families, and between daugters who seem to be subconscioiusly influenced by their mothers. Body shapes I don't know about, but this may be because people today sometimes know more about keeping their bodies in shape than their mothers or fathers did (i.e., this isn't a gender dependent tendency, if it does exist).

Well, loosely translated, yes. But there IS another gene pool involved, too.....on the father's side. You're quite likely to have most of the same health concerns and go through female life changes in the same age range. I take a lot after both of my parents, There are just as many similarities to one as there are to the other.

No. I do not look at all like my mother. I am 44 she is 69 and no one believes we are mother and daughter. I take after my father's side of the family.

no. I never looked like my mom.
she's very large and I'm petite
she has flat hair and my hair is puffy and curly
she has brown eyes and my eyes are green
she is lighter than me and I get an awesome tan in 1 hour outside
aka- I look very much like my daddy

I don't care. I know by who my soon to be wife is that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. Looks don't really matter to me. Especially that far down the road.

Not really, because she has qualities of both her mother and father. she would sorta look like both stuck together.
