my 1995 eagle talon,2.0,,,,it hesitates when you give it acceleration, then it revs up and takes right off ,, what causes it to hesitate?

When it hesitates, if you have to let off the gas then press it again to accelerate, then the fuel filter is most likely your problem. Trash get sucked to the fuel filter, when you let off the gas the trash fall off and you can keep going. Always remember cars take air and fuel to run. If its not running its going to be one of the two.

If it is a turbocharged vehicle, this is somewhat normal and is called turbo lag. Otherwise, I would check the fuel filter as previously mentioned by another answerer.
