If you want an anime like Yu Yu Hakusho that features paranormalities or demons, there are several great animes such as Ghost Stories. The anime subtitles are great and the storyline features alot of Japanese folklore. The dubbing company completely reworked about seventy-five percent of the script to make it a parody. A few episodes are features on Youtube.com if you type in 'ghost stories anime'. However your best chance to watch it would be on the anime network, or even buy it online.
Another great paranormal anime is Ghost Hunt. This is a genuinely scary show that I do not recommend watching with the lights off XD. Again, some Japanese folklore, but also hard paranormal facts are features in this anime.
Inu Yasha also relates back to Yu Yu Hakusho with the use of demons. Although it is widely-known as a romance, the action definitely outweighs this with demon warlords, gore, violence and some swearing too.
If you're looking for animes like Rurouni Kenshin, something that features samurai or historical dramas, great titles such as Samurai Champloo, Samurai Gun, Samurai X and Le Chevalier D'eon. Samurai Champloo you can also find on Youtube.com, otherwise I'm sure it's available to buy online if you google the title. The rest of the titles you can watch on Anime Network (or you can order Anime On Demand if you have Digital Cable)
I apologize if I'm mistaken, but if by 'MAR' you mean 'MARS', the manga that features romance but alot of human trauma too, I'd definitely recommend Fruits Basket. While it starts of as a very light manga and anime, once you get into it you find a lot of real characters with real human issues. Fruits Basket is VERY popular, not only for its insight into the human condition, but for its humor as well. Tokyopop sells the manga on its site, tokyopop.com

well, there's Eureka seven, but that has mecha in it. If you don't like that, then there's Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist. There's also Bleach and S-cry-ed. There's a lot of good anime with mecha("robots") in it, so you might want to check some of those just in case you might find them interesting. There's also Lupin III. If you wanna find some more, you can go to www.adultswim.com and go to the shows section then go to the "action" section. It's mostly anime ^-^

Fullmetal alchemist is very good. I suggest you go see it. I also like Ghost in the Shell:Stand Alone Complex because it's related to computer stuff. And I like Rurouni Kenshin, because Kenshin is cute!!

A very mature and cool anime. It's dark, but it's a very worthwhile series if you're looking for something new and intriguing.
