Yep he just sat there because what could he do?? He had warnings and chose NOT to listen. So he probably sh*t himself when he heard and couldn't stand up.

Why should the world-and the terrorists- be privy to exactly what our president does at the moment we are attacked ? He displayed a level head . It's stretching it to think there was no protocol already in place for such an event . To think our President was somehow going to get up and make a split-second decision in the face of a terrorist attack on our soil ..ON NATIONAL TV - and let the enemy know "the drill" ..is absurd .
The carrier of the "nuclear football" would have been "ready"..and for anyone to think GeorgeW. Bush didn't already have a plan in place in such an event ..then they are missing the boat . Personally , I'd like to know what it is people wanted him to do ? Show panic to the terrorists ? Panic the world? The kids ? Make the enemy happy like the liberal democrats in power do ? Show fear ? I am at a loss over that question time & time again . He is a true leader ; and he led & still leads . He's one in a million .

President Bush had no reason to prematurely race out of the classroom. Once the proper government entities had been informed of the attack, certain procedures immediately went into effect. The President was waiting for his aides to tell him which government compound had been prepared for him, and for fighter jets to be deployed to safeguard Air Force One.
The President of the United States does not run around like a chicken with its head cut off. President Bush acted calmly and rationally. I suppose Kerry would have freaked out.
Do you know what JOHN KERRY said happened after HE learned of the attack? He said that he and his entourage just sat in an office, completely dumbfounded, unable to speak or even think!
Read all about it in the book, "Do As I Say, Not As I Do: Profiles In Liberal Hypocrisy"
So, do you feel a little angry at how the Liberal media distorts the truth, and makes you think what it wishes???
