Hello all you need to do is just simply add a dual channel video card that will allow you to run 2 monitor at the same time and yes its something you can do yourself. the part will cost you about $50 and up. Here is a great website for all your electronics needs they have everything at dealer cost most of the time and if you join their yahoo group they will be able to keep you posted on up and coming deal and they have well trained techs that will give you plenty of how-to advice.

By far the easiest and best way to run 3 or 4 monitors is to get a motherboard that is either SLI or Crossfire compatable (something with 2 PCI Express x16 slots) and run 2 video cards, only don't run them in SLI or Crossfire mode, run them as independant video cards. You would then be able to easily span your desktop across 3 or 4 displays. Personally I use 2 LCD monitors on this machine, multiple displays is the wtg.

aparently it's not that new if it has XP media center on it, since everything now seems to have "Vista" *gags* Talk to a computer expert locally. That's the best way to solve any solution.
