Unfortunately probably not. I got some bad news for you Vista is the worst operating system Microsoft corp has made thus far it compares to millenium which failed horribly as well because of alot of the same issues. To list some of the problems with Vista is that most hardware at this point will not work with it until they come out with soem kind of software updates to support more hardware. The problem is as yous tated when buying new pcs they are now being bundled with Vista which is a bad move on thier part, I already have a associate in pc programming and going for second degree and i can tell you unless they change their business practices/software they can go out fast. Its been stated they will probably get rid of vista soon after spending billions in develpment unless it can be improved. The only option is to wait it out sorry to be the bearer of bad news.Ive read what they are considering is takign some features from vista and incorporating them into a release of win xp instead of a full fledged vista with all the bugs. More and more people are switching over to macs Geeeeee I wonder why
