Because no one would watch those videos if they were filled with obese, ugly, old women. They certainly aren't watching them for the music! The music is ugly, so they have to do somthing to get people to watch.

Come on man rap videos and that music SUCKS
Its just a conversation with drums in it so they can call it music.
And they throw in the girls in the videos because thats the only way they can get attention.
Pretty soon, like Mika said, rap will die. Like disco. Its been about a decade, anyday it will be gone.
But not metal. Rock has been around since the 60s, and it eventually led to metal and its subgenres, and that has been around since the 80s.
That will never die.
Come over to the metal side, stay away from that stuff. Don't become too hooked.

Well, for the first question, I would say it's because the rappers are normally ugly, therefore showing off some of their chicks and hot sexy babes in the video would be kinda attractive.
I imagine myself watching a rapper buck-naked singing in a video ~ I'd probably vomit before he could finish singing the first line of his song!

Back in the days "hiphop" was good enough plain on it's own without any ornaments, nowadays "rap" has gotten so garbage even the girls don't look sexy anymore.
Think about it in the 90's wasn't there alot of good hiphop groups without any sexy girls in their vids like Tribe called quest, or De la soul. just plain hiphop and they still sold albums. nowadays it's all bling rap, no point in their lyrics.

Did you ever look at a Cosmo magazine? Sex sells magazines, commercials, movies and music.......How can you feel sad that you're fat if you're not?
If the sexy girls bother you, sounds like you want to lose weight-go to weight watchers-in time for summer!

Sexy Sells. Your are correct about their bodies bumming out your mind. Remember, bodies are air-brushed, trimmed out by computer geeks. What the final video turns out is not REALLY want they look like

Would you rather them use ugly women?
Sexy women are more... attractive to most people, so by having them in videos instead of ugly women, more people are bound to want to watch the video.
