You are asking this question the wrong year. This was a tough year. I had to vote in the SAG awards and pretty much the same people nominated for best actress and almost best actor were the same with the exception of Leo DiCaprio - who was nominated for Best Actor in the SAG awards for "Blood Diamond" and Best Supporting Actor for "The Departed". I was sent screeners for all the films that were nominated for both SAG awards and Oscars and I had a very hard time making a decision. It would have been a lot easier if 2006 had been a year of really crappy movies. Ask this question again next year. From the performances I saw - if I could have voted for everyone in the Best Actor and Best Actress category - all of them would have won. However, I do agree with the Jennifer Hudson comments. It's her first film, her first nomination - and she wins while people like Kate Winslet who is a brave, phenomenal actress always taken on very challenging roles and been nominated several times - gets passed over AGAIN?!?!

actual everyone has distinctive critiques and distinctive tastes in track, that's impossible for each individual's time-honored music to win, I somewhat enjoyed Denmark's music, it wasn't could time-honored yet of course they deserved to win, why does no longer they? this question could have been plenty extra proper interior the 2004-2010 eurovision while each and all of the Balkan states have been winning as a results of fact they voted for the different politically, it replaced into plenty fairer and gently matched this twelve months and that i'm happy Denmark gained :) yet which would be as a results of fact i'm Danish. P.s- My time-honored replaced into Spain- Contigo Hasta Al very final

Jennifer Hudson...I'm sorry but I don't understand why she won just because she acted angry throughout the movie. Anybody could have done that!
