Why is everybody picking on George Bush?

They pick on him because he is an easy target. Most of them don't know anything about Bush except what they've heard from the liberal news media, which probably explains a lot.

It's not just the grammar, though it does gall that the only man in the country with the keys to the nuclear arsenal either can't or won't pronounce the word "nuclear" correctly.

No, it's the easy duality ("you're either with us or with the terrorists"); it's the snarky fratboy chuckleheaded way he talks about all the "hard work" he does; it's the pseudochristian hypocrisy; and most of all it's the smirk.

Those are just the mannerisms, which all could be forgiven if his policies weren't so arrogant and counterproductive. He's basically made a hash of everything he's touched, when he had the chance to do something wonderful for the US and the world in the aftermath of 9/11, he did the exact opposite.

We could have had all of our farms at peak oilcrop production and most of our vehicles running on diesel by now, but instead we are still trying to conquer Arabia to secure the oil that's dwindling away as we speak.

First, let me say that when I took a class in journalism and we talked about dealing with people we are to be polite, and so on except with politicians. They are what are called fair game.

George W. Bush's "Bushisms" are hardly the reason people "pick on him". Other Presidents have made errs in speaking. They do so much of it mistakes are bound to happen. He seems to have done more than most.

His policies are the thing most people attack. To be enlightened I am recommending you read a book called: "You're Not Stupid! Get The Truth"; by William John Cox. It is well documented and is available at Bn and Amazon.

I think some people have never yet, gotten over the fact that he beat Al Snore in 2000, and that's all these creeps, need to keep their cry baby crap going none stop, liberals are just a bunch of wussies that will never grow up, and be big boys. they have always claimed to be tolerant people, but the truth is they are only tolerant, of those that believe the same crap, they believe . and how could any people be, any less tolerant than liberals, if their are, I never heard of them . perhaps the communist, but thats like comparing oranges, to tangerines , but they are similar in being intolerant of the belief, that everyone else holds dear, if it's in contrast with their own belief, or unbelief, a better word to describe the liberal view point, in just about every situation, thats the slightest bit political or, God forbid religious, their nature Atheistic views slip out into all conversations. even when they don't ever seem to know the facts, about anything they argue about...

I really don't care about his grammatical mistakes. I do object by some of what he says, but only about what he means to say. Sure I will laugh at those grammatical mistakes, but I wouldn't hold contempt for him if he would be a good President. Surely, your not under the impression that we are "picking" on him due to his grammer ?

Well he stole the presidency, then he took us into a war ON Iraq fraudently, he and Canada and Mexico have sold out many major highways across America to foreign buyers, on a personal note , he has made it impossible for me to have the medicine that I need, he has caused me to be without heat in the winter, he has stolen many of my freedoms>telephone tapping, the patriot act, opening mail<, he is responsible for many of our young men being maimed and yet wants to either shut down or cut funding for all V.A. hospitals, he fired 75 attorney generals across the country and replaced them with people who do his bidding, and I could go on and on.............his lack of speaking abilities I could live with..............his lack of leadership is unforgivable.
