It goes further than that.. Humans are inhearantly "cliquish" for lack of a better word.. they will always seperate out into thier little groups.. race is just a larger grouping.. even within a "race" they will seperate out.. easy case in point thats in the news.. Iraq.. Shia Muslim VS Sunni Muslim.. same race same religion.. different sects.. Or even white presbyterians VS white mormons (both Xtian).. same rage same religion.. diferent sect..
Of course everyone is racist to a degree.. hell even the people of the same race cant get along and totally blend.. (rednecks vs city boys LOL) It goes on and on and on.. This is no suprise.. not to me anyway... In fact if 3 out of the 4 races were eliminated from the planet the race left would find something even with in thier own race to replace blatent racism (maybe it would be green eyed people).. such is the nature of humans..
Personally I can think of 101 reasons to hate just about anyone.. and race wouldnt even be on the top 200 reasons on my list LOL

Ask yourself this question. Do you remember or have seen children
ever be care what their playmates look like? Human beings aren't inherently racist. It is taught their words and actions of parents or even the people we hang out with. Society also places a label on every ethic group. So to answer your question. Racism is taught not inherently.

No, I don't believe that humans are inherently racist. Once you have a child or have been around children I think that you will agree.
Young children, that haven't been taught otherwise, see people equally; at least that is what I have experienced.

I wouldn't say racist necessarily. Have you ever seen an african-american baby and a caucasian baby play together? They have no idea what race is. That is totally learned in our society, not inherited. But the two babies will fight over a toy. It is human to be selfish sometimes and that might be one of the roots of racism.

I think that most people do have some racist tendencies.
Probably a leftover from caveman days where you needed to stick with the people that looked like you in order to survive.
It's a trait that is no longer necessary, but is still in our genetic code.
The best thing to do is to allow your brain to override the gut reaction on this one. It doesn't serve anyone in a positive manner.

I don't believe we are look at children when they play they could truly care less about who it is they are playing with. It is only as we age that the collective life experiences we have, our friends, families, environment all influence our thinking but I think its more fear of what threatens us or our status quo as opposed to racism I was not raised to hate and feeling uncomfortable about others or their culture doesn't make you racist but outright hate does in my opinion.

No, but there is man's inhumanity to man as a basic truth of the human condition. Racism is simply the result of ignorance and fear and frankly, human flaw. Racism is but one example ... persecution of religious beliefs, isolation of anything or anyone different than ourselves.

Hell no!
Modern racism as we know it is a product of imperialism - up until 500 years ago, it didn't exist. It's predecessor, national chauvamism, emerged with the origin of tribes and states. Basically, racism is caused by property relations - exploiting classes have to make the people they rule hate the folks in the next country, to justify wars and repression against them.
At one time in human history (actualy for most of our history as a species) racism was unknown - and one day, racism will no longer exist!

I don't have a racist bone in my body. I don't hate anyone, I don't pre judge races, and I can give respect to anyone when respect is due.
So I would say No

not inherently. you don't think racist untill the idea is put into your head.
you might wonder when you're a child why people are different colors, but i think that's as far as the thought goes unless someone puts their ideas into your head about it.
