There is a big difference between an F1 car and an F3 (now called F3000) car.

The aerodynamics and technology used in an F1 car is much more complex and advanced than that on an F3 car. The braking is much more hard, cornering ability much more, and the speed too is very high on an F1 car.A driver has to be mentally and physically prepared for quick reactions and changes.

An F3 car is slower, and cornering ability is less. The wheelbase is less, and reliability is comparitively less. The engine capacity on an F3 car is 3000cc(thats the reason they are called as F3000) whereas that of an F1 car is 2400 cc.

F3000 is the stepping stone to Formula 1 for many drivers

There key difference that would probably get the most immediate focus is the engine - a 2.4L V8 being the current spec in F1, while a 2.0L 4 Cylinder power plant, with a 26mm restrictor to effectively hold power to about 200hp.

An F3 chasis is also more static that an F1 car, which will see constant development as a season progresses (making for one of the key cost factors in F1... though for a lower level series F3 can be quite expensive as well).

that girl above me named Kaya is very stupid. F3 is not dumb, and is the top feeder series for F1. All of the best drivers came from there. Seriously, if you know nothing about racing, dont post stuff on here!

Also, F1 has to use grooved tires. F3 (which is now GP2) use slicks.
