horselover,

ebay is safe.

it's the sellers that are risky!

i would NEVER buy a laptop from ebay! that category is rife with FRAUD!

many are listed on HIJACKED ACCOUNTS, don't exist, are pieces of crap, etc...

i would be leery of horse saddles because of the high shipping costs.

don't buy from sellers with less than a 98.6% feedback rating.

but no matter WHAT you buy on ebay, remember the most important thing:

ALWAYS pay through PAYPAL funded by a CREDIT CARD!

this is the best protection from any scam on the internet.

you always have the option of filing for a CHARGEBACK from the CC provider should ANYTHING go wrong.

pay safe, stay safe!

Yes, Ebay is safe, the only thing is that you might want to read the reviews from all the people who have bought form that buyer previously.. If they have a lot of rewies, a good rating, and have sold a lot in that department they probably know what they are doing.

P.S. Check where they live, just make sure you are not getting something form arcoss the world or from some strange place

I personaly have had very good succuess on E Bay and use Pay Pay as a means of payment that way you are protected again as well with the item being what it is advertised. Like any thing or place you purchase an item you need to be as knowledgeable as possable about your item and keep all information pertaining to item untill you are satisfied with the item. I have had a couple of issues but the sellers either made it right or offerd to correct the situation so I realy can't complain....DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL CREDIT CARD INFO OUT, use Pay PAL hope this helps

You should trust the users on eBay who have a high rating and lots of positive feedback. You can view what comments buyers/sellers have left about each user.

If they have good feedback, and a high-rating they are most likely safe.

I've purchased many items on eBay and I have personally had no problems. Just make sure you are clicking "Buy" on exactly what you want.

Check their feedback. If you are unsure I would use PayPal. With paypal if you don't get your item, or it just isn't what it said it was .. you can get a refund. It takes a little bit, but you'll get it. For the most part I think Ebay is safe.

yes it is. i have bought plenty from this auction site. Use common sense, read the seller reviews to ensure they have a good rating. I also sell on there too. Personally however I would be cautious about the laptops....especially since if not packaged correctly they can be damaged during transit.

Yes, if you check the feedback. Ask lots of questions to make sure you are getting what you want.
