I think it's honestly too early to tell. I mean, the Wii hasn't been around long enough, and there hasn't been a study around to prove it one way or the other. But considering that the Wii console operates like a remote control, and that there have yet to be reports that using such devices cause cancer, I'm thinking it's safe to assume that you won't get any tumors from using the Wii remote.

It probably causes the same amount of cancer as any other electrical appliance that you have lying around the house - which would be a very minuscule amount. A lot more people are getting cancer now-a-days more than ever - I believe it's because of all the junk that we have in the world now.

I play my Wii everyday and I haven't got any medical problems. It's completely safe.

to find out read the manual and that should tell you the risk of playing the game, and if you don't have one ask one of your friends or family members to read the game manual
