yes they did get rid of jeff garcia but that is not the dumbest thing they have ever done. and donte stallworth is still a free agent and he can still sign with the eagles.

Garcia.
yea it was a fun ride with him at the helm of the eagles but the true QB for Philly is Mcnabb. he has led us to a superbowl. although he has bee injury bound the last couple of years we still have feeley back there to back us up.

Stallworth.
Great addition in the 06 season. i would too like to see him come back to the eagles however probably not going to happen. we can still get some great value from the Free Agency Market. we have the 30th pick in the draft. we might be able to pick up a good WR but REID will peobably go with a free safety or linebacker.

what we really have to be worried about is Correl Buckhalter being let go to Free Agency. that bothers me because what happens if Westbrook the team leader in my opinion gets hurt whos gonna come in and support the running game????

I do they think they should have resigned Stallworth because they need him but Jeff Garcia was lucky. He played very sloppy games and he isnt a good QB. Next year Garcia will be as sorry as he was before those last few games of the season. Philly made the right call by not bringing him back.

Stallworth is inconsistent, injury prone and might cost a lot of money. Don't resign him. Kevin Curtis is a more interesting option.

Jeff Garcia was asking to much, might become a problem in the locker room if McNabb is back and they lose a couple of games. Feeley and a guy like Detmer are team players with a lot of upside in the case of Feeley

They didn't get rid of them. They weren't resigned. Do you remember when Donavan got hurt? Detmer came in and did a great job before getting hurt. Then AJ Feeley came in and did just as well. This system is made to compliment the quarterback. We don't need to spend $5 million on Garcia. AJ will be fine.
As for Stallworth, I don't want to see him go, but he's gonna get big money and we just don't have it to spend. It's really Reggie Brown's time to shine. Let see what the kids got.
