No not everyone is a racist. I am not in the least bit racist. What I am against are people who let preconceptions overrun their intellect. I have nothing against someone of any race. Only ignorant people. (P.S. My commets are in general and not directed toward you. I simply disagree, but respect your opinion.)

Everybody is racist. Hmmm. What comes to mind right away is exactly what typically liberal, elitist drivel that is. It's the sort of thing I'd expect to hear in a college or university really. Most educated people gave up on that "racial superiority" nonsense long ago. The cultural stuff that always gets mixed into that discourse is a different matter and has more to do with the need of a society to have a common culture in order to remain viable than with overt racism. The latter proposition has also been rejected by academic liberals and has been stirred into the confused soup that we like to call the "racial dialogue".
Honestly, my own take on it would be almost as offensive in those circles. I think that one is either a club member or not. If he is, then skin color is not much of an issue. If not, being white won't help him much.

I deny that there is any difference in whayt people happen by chance to be born, they are no beterr or no more evil than anyone else, it's what they choose to make of themselves. If an advantage liek screaming "racism" everytime they don't get their way works, they will use it. The idea of "affirmative action" IS racist and has been judged as such by the US Supreme Court, but it continues. Yes, racism is prevalent, look at the Cherokees, who after siding with the Spanish against the British, and the British against Yankees and then Confederates against teh Union, make a big deal about the "trail of tears" and today were voting about kicking out the descendants of African American slaves they OWNED from their nation. If you aren't something like at least 1/8th of any one Native American tribe they dismiss you. As one minority competes with others they all are racists when things turn ugly, it happens wherever whenever two groupd fight over dwindling resources. Pretty much I have an equal loathing for all humans (I'm trying to be fair) but there is no mountain wilderness you can dissappear into to be a hermit anymore :P

Everybody has thoughts that are misconceptions about other people's race, I don't care who you are. If you can't own up to that, you're lying to yourself. I try, I really do, but it's kind of hard when you are bombarded with stereotypes from TV and music and advertising every single day. I was robbed by two black teenagers who took my wallet that had my license and S.S. card in it. I was still harbored by creditors trying to get money from me by the bogus bank accounts set up in my name and bad checks written on them for 6 years. I have to admit that sometimes I still get jumpy when I see a group of black teenagers come into my store. I'm sorry, but when somebody points a gun at you and caps off a shot at you, that can make any body's view about race or color become skewed. Like I said, I try. Because right now, it's come down to this; I just hate stupid people, race or color doesn't matter to me anymore. I'll call a black guy asshole as soon as I would a white guy if he acted like a ******* moron, plain and simple. So put me down for a three, except for fuckwits. Then it's an 11.

I don't consider to be a racist. I am so sick and tired of the questions that I see on this forum asking if we would elect a black for President. Well, I look at his stand on the issues, not his color. I do not even think his race should not be an issue. I do think that as far as being a racist, I am harder on my own skin color than any other. I also hate the term "trailer trash"!! I know alot of people that live in "trailers" that are not "trash"

Individuality of races is not racism its plain individuality that some are different and proud of it.I do not want to go to every country and meet the same people .In my own country i would like to see parts of the world brought to the suburbs in the way of different housing a different country in every suburb as i can go out on a Friday night and go to Italy with the Mistry of a street of Italy right in my suburb right down to the last lime stone building or Malta ,Croatia .French would be good french women, cafes and painters painting in the street playing a guitar .Every suburb different in would be a wild experience and there wouldn't be time for racial tension as there would be to much to do. Australia wood be the envy of the world it is already but much more .Traditional 16th century sushi restaurant and gardens with cherry tree with blossoms would be good to with atea ceromony included .Every thing needs balance to work .

I am not racist. It is just that people of some races are obnoxious because of the way they think they should act. For instance, I have had mexicans tell me I don't have to work as hard as you, I am not white. Some blacks have to wear their caps sideways and wear baggy pants, because they are supposed to. i could say something about every race, i can say one good thing about asians, though , their kids sure behave well. I am white and there are sure some trashy white people that should have been aborted.

if "racism" means a person believing race determines a persons superiority I disagree with you. I believe poeple for the most part feel more comfortable with people of their own race and that leads to a false sense of being racist to other people.

There's a difference between implicit stereotyping/prejudice and explicit stereotyping/prejudice. Anyone who knows of the associations between different groups and certain attributes has an activation of these stereotypes upon contact with a member of that group (implicit). Just because one has an automatic activation of stereotypes doesn't mean one has to let these affect how they think or act, though. Explicit prejudice would be the effect of implicit thoughts about a group on judgement, behavior, memory, or attention. Education about prejudice and a desire to be egalitarian can prevent explicit prejudice.

Im racist, but not KKK kind of racist. Your right, everyone is racist; are you going to be more afraid of some 300 lb black man in street clothes eyeballing you at the ATM or a little white granny? If you answered the black man, thats racist.
And Im pretty racist, I dont think that some races should die or anything like Hitler or the KKK; but still.

Racism is a mental disease. No, everyone is NOT mentally ill. You walk among the deranged in that class if they are all racist "to some degree", which is like being "slightly" pregnant. LOL
