I have gained 6 lbs in the past few months. The only thing that I can see that I've done differently is change my brand name birth control(Seasonale) to generic(Quasense). I am 5' tall so 6 lbs is alot!

I have experienced the same thing! My appetite has been greater and I've also gained weight since being forced by insurance to go to Quasense! I am going to go off of this stuff!

I could be the brand, but some birth control does make you gain weight. If you're concerned, go talk to your doctor and see if that's what it is.

I believe that gaining weight is a side effect of all birth control.

Not always. If any weight is gained, it is from fluid retention.

Ask your Gyn.
