Well, I think it is like the early bird gets the worm, and maybe in your personality that isn't how you approach life, maybe you like to think things over and ponder before making decisions. ?

This is most reflected in folk's trying to be "one-up" on you. It interested me for years and then after entering corporate I see folks reading emails at 2:00 AM and getting up at 4:00 am to drive to work.....The advantage of time allows one to "be ahead" of another. It's only a shame that the "one-up" society is perpetuated.

I think in some cases it is important (if your given a chance for example, and you pass up an important opportunity because you were too lazy to do what ever was needed)but in some cases I find it is annoying.
