i'm thinking it was probably more of a "realization" than a "becoming".
good luck!

I don't think people "become" gay or lesbian; I think they either realize something that was there all along, or they make a conscious decision to leave one sex alone and deal with the other sex because of the hassle and frustration. In the latter case, I think eventually they will realize that they're really not going to be happy that way, and they will eventually go back to living as a heterosexual.

I think it could motivate someone towards making the decision. However, that woman must have felt some type of chemistry towards certain women from before the fact.

she may realize that the reason why she has had so many bad relationships with men is because she's a lesbian, but she can't just suddenly turn queer because she's tired of men.

I suspect not. Most women know that they are lesbians from quite an early age.

definatly yes YES !
My girlfriend dated guys for 1 year and found she has nothing interesting to talk about and the sex part was boring and wasn't attracted to them anymore.
Then she became interested in a girl who was really interesting and found she was getting attracted to her.
then she found she lusted after them more than she did men and can talk and relate to them more and found the romance more satisfying .
So she decided no more guys she'd rather date & love women . and she is happier that way.
3 years later we met , fell in love , and happy together .
we both came out of the closet and so happier with our womanly relationship .
me I was always attracted to the feminine , i found guys unsexy and repulsive .
women are somuch more beautiful .
.

NO this is impossible, people don't turn. I think that you would first have to have some interest in lesbians to allow this to happen............ STICK with MEN!

no, that's ridiculous. you're either gay or you're not. nothing can make you "turn" gay. by that same reasoning, because of my lousy relationship with my ex, I should have turned straight? not hardly! I now have a wonderful partner and we have a happy, committed, monogamous relationship.
