Spongebob rocks. I think a lot of the same thinking goes into stuff for Spongebob that went into The Flintstones, like what would they use for stuff in that environment? A little biology lesson, for instance, makes a character like Patrick make perfect sense...starfish don't have brains! Plankton is another great character...how can you hate a single-cell animal with the ambition to rule the world? Now that's funny!

Spongebob is a really enjoyable t.v. show because it makes us laugh. The whole experience when you're sitting on that chair and watching it, it makes you remeber the days as a child. Like the days you laughed, or cried, or just having fun with your friends.

LOL Because he's funny, cute and says off the wall things that make you laugh outloud. He's a goof and not afraid to show it and that's what makes him just so darn irresistable!

I never heard about him until I had kids. I guess it is that he is just so happy all the time, and never gets that he is the joke in every scene. I have seen them all, but they all still make me laugh.
