White Gold for sure. You have the best of both worlds.
Its both silver looking but is actually real gold.
White Gold goes with yellow gold too.
Genuine Yellow Gold won't scratch off like gold plated jewellery does.
There will be an indented number or code on the inside of the ring.
Weight plays a big part too aswell as sound when you drop it. It should have a ringing or ching sound to it.

Actually platinum is the most expensive metal and the most rare.. All precious metals have really gone up in price over the last year. Wear what you like. It's pointless to buy gold in 10K. It doesn't matter white or gold. Buy at least 14k and 18k if you can afford it. White gold is rhodium plated to give it the white luster. Most white gold has nickel as an alloy. Some people are allergic to nickel. So, your white gold will turn yellow. But, it may not. That's why you should buy 18k. Worst case scenario, you take it to the jewelers and have them rhodium plate it again. Costs you 30 bucks. Go to a reputable jeweler. Stay away from the mall stores and look for a locally owned store. You'll get to know the owner and feel good about your purchases!

See which color best suits your skin tone. Darker tone skins look good with white gold or platinum, but white skins look better with yellow gold, or even rose gold (hard to find in the US).
How can you tell? There are chemical tests, but they can discolor the gold. Get a jewelry appraiser's opinion.
Also, check for the "gold hall mark." It should be engraved on the piece of jewelry. However, that mark can be faked.
You could shop at Tiffany's; they're sure to tell the truth about what they're selling. One thing for sure, like everything else, if the price seems to good to be true--its a fake.

my girlfriend likes yellow gold because it is the only type of metal that have true value and is traded on the stock markets globally, platinum and white gold is made up of alloys and have minimal value even you may spend a lot on it. real yellow gold have substantial weight on it and pure gold is very soft to the touch. yellow gold makes you look expensive and wealthy, many millionaires wife's prefer real gold over white gold and fashion alloys.

no man or woman is jealous. Orientals are very magnificent and sensible those who really extra healthful into our society. Their bountiful low-priced demanding artwork in China is a real danger to our production. Our wages are for a higher existence and their wages are to devour. meaning they could import at very low fee, which signifies that American workers can't devour.
