Well, if you look at the past years, how often does a one seed or teams that everyone thinks are really good win the NCAA Tourney. That said, many people will surely put Wisconsin out of it because they lost Brian Butch to a sever injury, yet their win today at Michigan State showed a lot. I would really expect the Badgers to get a Final Four appearance at the least with a good shot at the Championship. They are playing some spirited basketball and I think they still do not get the respect they deserve.

It will be interesting to see how the committee treats the Big Ten's "Twin Towers" so to speak when the brackets come out next Sunday. As long as neither Ohio State nor Wisconsin is upset on Friday in the quarterfinals, the committee will be hard pressed not to give each a one seed with Kansas, North Carolina, and UCLA splitting the other three. Any one seed has a chance to win the tournament because it gives you an advantage of making the final four.

Did you see their game today against Michigan State? That game made me question their ability to win the NCAA Tournament. There is one important factor in the tournament for the Badgers. Everyone will be looking to knock them off. They will be a #1 seed which means an opportunity for a major upset. I predict they can survive until the Final Four. After that, they'll have to have some players step up.

i think they have a decent shot, because they have certainly proven that they can survive when they get down in a game and that they can win when they don't play their best basketball, which is two things they will need to be able to do in the ncaa's...however, i think their lack of a second scoring threat will cause them big problems when they run into a very good defensive team, which there is bound to be at least one on their road to atlanta
