sd: First off, Wii > PS3. http://www.nexgenwars.com is my proof.
Angel Eyes: You DON'T compare a Handheld to a Console. You HAVE to compare a console to a console or a handheld to a handheld. Like this: Wii > PS3, and DS > PSP.
Now, to actually answer the question; It depends. Are you at home a lot? Or are you on the go a lot? Do you want Multi-Media crap, or do you want pure gaming quality?
If you answered Yes to pure gaming quality and/or being home a lot, buy yourself a Wii.
If you answered Yes to Multi-Media and/or being on the go a lot, screw you and get yourself a Wii.
Moral: Wii > All.

get a psp so u can hack into it to play some of the games you can get of the wii.

Instead of psp or wii I think you should go for ps3.It is better than all the gaming consoles avaible.So don't waste your money,use it in the right place.

Wii. It's an innovative console nowadays. For handheld i prefer Nintendo DS Lite... But if u ask PS3 Or Wii, it's hard to answer. I want to of them, they have pros and cons.

interesting comparison.... ps3 or wiii/ ds or psp would be more common questions but this is different... but comparing a handheld to a console is impossible... the comparison qualities do not work as they run different ways... if you are wondering which to spend your money on... it is a matter of opinion
