I wish I could say no, because I really try not to. But yes, I have held grudges before. The longest one I held was 31 years. Believe me there is a good reason.
Truthfully, I wish I could let it go.

I don't hold grudges. I use the thought process of, what goes around comes around. That philosophy has been so true. I should write a book of people who have wronged me and got what they deserved in life. I had no hand in their misfortune. I felt bad. Deep down tho, I thought, serves you right for how you treat others. I try to be a decent person, but sometimes the idiots need a wake up call.

Yes. I have held one for 16 years, and will continue to hold this grudge till the day I die. The man that I hold it against is dead, but I still hold the grudge. I will NEVER forgive him for raping me when I was 8.

I used to but I grew up and learned that forgiveness is the better way to go.

When I did hold a grudge it lasted about 15 years.

I tend not to but sometimes you just have to. A "friend" of mine betrayed me because I became very good friends with an enemy of his friends. Follow me so far? He went out of his way to poke and pry information out of me about her. I could see where his motives where coming from and didn't give him anything. He stormed off and I haven't seen him since. Really nice for someone who used to call me his brother. Literally. A few years later, he tried to contact me and pretend everything was like it was way back when. I decided to go against my usual manner and hold a grudge. If I never see him again, that would suit me fine. His enemy and I are best friends and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

I usually only hold grudges against my husband. and I will only hold the grudge until he gives me what I want (which is for him to say I am right) that doesn't usually take too long because I hide his controllers for the PS2 until he agrees with me.
