i am also diagnosed with chiari malformation I. bleeding is bright red on paper and on stool. does not feel like hemroids. so far docs have not been able to find anything excepts some polyps that they removed a year ago. i am really frustrated.

Go to Mayo Clinic they will find the problem.

You need to go back to the dr. Pls get more opinions since the previous drs have not been able to find out much as to what's wrong. Have you had a colonoscopy or a colonography (this is where they are now starting to use CT Scans with 3D imaging to see what's going on with the colon, only problem is that if they find anything a colonoscopy will still be needed to get further info on what's going on)?

Yes you need to get a second or a third or fourth opinion. You need to find a doctor who can get to the bottom of things. This is not normal. If you had polyps removed you should be having another colonoscopy in a year from then. With your age it is best to keep on top of it. Be persistant, it's your health, it's your life.
