because broken hearts make ppl wanna write songs bout heartache,deceit n alll that ...and well i dont beleive in love but the ppl that do, fall in it and well crash boom bang ! songs help em express their feelings

Because this is the most easiest topic to write about. People have more experience in love than, let's say, wilderness.
Writing about heartbreak is easy because so many people go through it. Writing about true love is easy because so many people fantasize over it. And writing about an ex you want back is easy because, like heartbreak, it happens to many people.
And the reason why celebrities (singers) write more about this is because they base a lot of this off their own love life.

Why are there so many songs about love?
Its simple.
People are insecure.
No one has a sense of assurance as to whats gonna happen next. They need some thing to cling to, just for a minute, to falsly fill themselves.

Because they are love songs for people who are in love with each other. How Do I Love Her? by Steven Curtis Chapman is a song on how he can love his wife better.

Because it sell. The music industry is an industry. They will do whatever it takes to make money so they put a lot of the same crap out because they know a lot of people will buy it. Even if it does suck.

Love is everyone's desire. Everyone wants to be loved and that is what we one day hope to accomplish. Love is probably the human's most prominent driving force to do what we do. Why not write about something that is important to everyone?
