It is true you learn a little more about what they're like behind closed doors but the general character traits you should have already known if you're going to agree to live with someone. I knew that I'd be doing most of the house work when my girlfriend and I moved in together. I knew that she'd be claiming the extra bedroom as her office. She knew the basement and garage would be mine, she knew I'd eventually take over the kitchen as well. But yes, there are little things either one of us didn't know about each other before we lived together.

You can live with someone for years and find out one day you don't know them.. I don't think anyone can ever truly know someone else completely .. you might find out what their quirks are, but to be able to say for certain that someone is a certain way is not possible..

I think you can know someone really well... but when you spend 24 hrs a day with someone, you will learn more.

yes it is so true i had this friend who seemed so neat and clean but when i went to stay with them for the summer there house was a complete MESS!!!
