Yes I used to believe that too - We have a Bill of Rights in Canada - in the end it's a piece of paper - Look how fast your piece of paper got watered down when Bush decided it was in the way ?

How many cars would be rolling off the line if it were not for the working class ?
Lets find out one day ? All the line workers all the miners and so forth from the smelter to the sales clerk are on strike tommorow - How much profit is there now for the elite that "earned it "- The wealth that these people aquired is off someone else's back just as the farmer that fed them - is the reward equal for the work put out ?
In what way did the elite in this case earn it in comparison to those who made it happen?

The game is fixed and that is hard to swallow. We all need each other, and all we have to do is change the rules so that we all are rewarded for our talents. Right now we have a very few extremely powerful and rich who live off the efforts of the masses of humanity, keeping us as farm animals for their profit. When we get more awake we will realize we can change that in a week by working together.

Sure do.
I guess many forget that the overwhelming majority of the wealthy EARNED their money. You can also thank them for the jobs created for your so-called "working" class. The wealth pie is unlimited and the fact that one possesses it does nothing to detract another from earning their own wealth.
I never understand the reason for this sort of Socialist-type BS talk. You just don't get it. Educate yourself.

They serve little purpose except to maintain their agenda!
The problem is the way money flows! Almost all cities and towns now have a "Dollar Drought" due to big business, who sells billions in Chinese and overseas goods, employ a few minimum wage workers and illegals (like Walmart) and take all the money out of the community. Soon downtown's are ghost town as they have all been put out of business!
Almost everything we invented, from TVs to Cd's and computers! We don't make them though! Somebody else does!
Wonder how many anti-trust laws have been prosecuted lately!
We can't have any fair competition in the US. The conglomerates own almost everything!

the rich aren't the only ones producing jobs.. any person with a dream and desire can start a business and if successful gets wealthy and if they are just, will put alot of it into the business and his or her emplyees to reward them for putting him or her on top. imo the rich need to stop rubbing it in the working class's faces.. if it weren't for us they'd be on the street and most of those snobs inheirit it and never had to earn a frikkin dime. so i believe the working class deserves some respect for what we do for the rest of the higher ups.

Thats a tough question, I would say that the elites purpose is to govern. However, that doesnt really sound fair. What we need is an elite class which serves the working class

There have always been the rich and even though they are fewer in numbers the $ is what counts in our pitfall society. Human nature is such that there will always be the rich in society.

I think that history has answered this question nicely, which is why our US forefathers wisely put together a Constitution to protect against mob rule.
A healthy society tolerates wealth growth potential. Its called balance.
I don't personally consider late 18th Century France a healthy society.

Who do you think makes the jobs and allows the economy to run? Without those who possess the capital, there are no jobs for the working class to be employed in

None, because you are a socialist.
The wealthy in a capitalist society create businesses that employ people and if that business is successful, the owner creates wealth. They can then reinvest it.
You have no idea how economics work.
