Ciara is cool but do you think she would still be famous if Aaliyah had lived?

Aaliyah was great and a lot of her songs still get airplay-especially the last cut released before she died...Rock the Boat.

I almost get the impression that Ciara is being forced to be Aaliyah without her input. I can't be the only one who thinks this.

Of course....Ciara may have some similarites with Aaliyah but Ciara's style and flavor of music is her own. Aaliyah's style was of the late 90s. It was hot then but who knows how she would be today. I mean, I'm sure she would be successful but saying Ciara wouldn't be is an understatement. She's gettin a lot of love and appreciation right now. The next "Aaliayh" some may say. Ciara even says herself that Aaliyah is one of her inspirations and it was an honour for her to be compared to Aaliyah.

i think if aaliyah was alive ciara wouldnt be famous at all i have to agree wit you. Aaliyah was a great singer and it is teribbly sad how she went.She totaly rocked in Queen of the Damned its a great movie and shes really pretty in it to well shes was always pretty. R.I.P Aaliyah!!!!!!!
