I am having some closet trama and I am cleaning house. I wanted nice clothing that I can wear to work but that comfortable.
I have tried Macy's but I thought their clothing was cheaply made and expenisve. I tried Kohl's and loved the Chaps line but everything was soo tall, I am only 5"4 but too tall for petites. No luck at Ann Taylor.... I want to redo my closet so I want a store that sells a lot of basic styles. Any suggestion on where to go?
That won't brake the bank. I do not shop at Walmart type stores (due to the fact they do not support unions) and have never had luck at Target.
Thanks!!

I have good luck @ Lord & Taylor, also the Dress Barn for tops or dresses. Carson Pirie Scott & Chicos also.

Burlington Coat Factory has size 15/16 in casual and career clothes at decent prices. Also, there is a plus-size chain store called The Avenue. My best friend wears sizes 19/20 and bought 5 tops + 5 bottoms that mix and match (25 outfits) for only $200. Some of their stuff is expensive but the quality is good and they have great sales. Look them up on the internet for a store near you or get a cataloge sent to you.
