2 people are quite capable of bringing a child into this world and care for them without a piece of paper. You people need to look up the divorce stats. If after 2 years there is no success it is time to seek professional help.

i agree get married, its not gonna make u magically firtile but i dont agree with planning a baby without beign married. I dont understand how ppl dont cherish wedding vows and being married before having children, its a more stable situation when ur married and it means alot more when u take the time to commit to someone. Also i wouldnt want my child to say ya my parents arent married, and at the hospital there asking whos name the baby will have, my mother works on the nicu floor here and she said that her hospital if an unwed mother comes in the baby must now take the mothers last name , its easier that way when charting and what not

Stop taking real hot showers, it kills your sperm count. do not wear tight under garments. These are a few things you can do and one other that is very important relax stop worrying about it. Enjoy being together. It does help make a difference.

Keep trying... sometimes it takes patience.
You might also want to each have a checkup to make sure everything is okay with your sperm count and with her ovulation. Just a thought.

My husband and I tried for three years. We complained to the Doctor about it, and he said to have sex every other day for six months, then we should look into fertility.

to the other answerer's who responded by saying..."get married," I would like to know just how a piece of paper magically makes someone fertile? Thats a pretty cool trick god does, oh but wait god isn;t magic.....
whatever...
have your girlfriend see her gyno and you get your sperm count and motility checked. A great book to read is taking charge of your fertility.

if its been 2 years already, then go to the doc. talk to her obgyn and they will run some tests. and may also refer you to a fertility specialist.
