I have spent A LOT of money on makeup especially when something new comes out. How much is the most you have paid for a product? Did you feel guilty or happy you did it?

I've spent $35 on foundation before (my current one cost $25). The blush I'm using now cost $18. I can justify spending that kind of money on foundation and blush because I'm VERY pale and I have to test the colors first.

I personally wouldn't spend a lot on eye makeup--because I don't wear it often enough to justify the expense, and because when I do I usually just wear mascara. The most I have ever spent on mascara is $12. Usually it's more like $7-8. There are some really good ones at the drugstore.

I usually spend $14-15 on a lipstick.

My most expensive makeup purchase was $8,247 dollars. I was doing makeup for a whole wedding party, but still. I spent over 200 per woman in the bridal party. I guess the most I've spent on a single piece is 30 for foundation. But I don't really feel guilty about it, cause if the foundation is good, it should last you at least 3 months... 30 cents a day for flawless skin? I think most women would agree it's worth it.

I spend alot on my makeup and I do feel guilty just after I spent the money but then I think "damn I worked hard for that makeup and the guilt goes away. So I guess the most i spent on a single item of makeup was $40 for a Chanel brow kit.

The most I spend is usually on foundation- it cost about $35 but I think it's money well spent. If you buy cheap foundation it really shows, the colors don't match skin that well and it usually either looks cakey or too sheer. I also bought $14 eyeshadows, but those lasted a long time. Good brushes are a must for me, so mine cost about $15 each (I have about 4) but I had them for about 5 yrs now and they still in great shape.
