I'm not a Democrat, but I cannot believe that Democrats are actually taking these two seriously! Neither one is as qualified as Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, Wesley Clark or Tom Vilsack. Obama has little experience and is pretty vague in his beliefs. Hillary has always had her eye on this opportunity and her entire record has straddled the safest votes. Hillary is constantly portrayed as "one of the smartest people ever to live," but has anyone ever actually witnessed evidence of this superior intelligence? What is it that makes her so smart? What has she done that you can point to, and say, "Aha, this is a fine example of her resplendent brilliance."
Either Hillary or Obama would get stomped simply by virtue of who they are; race and gender are not even relevant. Obama will be exploited because of his inexperience and vagueness. Furthermore, what he has said is to the left of Mondale. Hillary would go down in flames like the Hindenburg. She is not as likeable as her husband, who never got more than 50% of the vote (and he should have crushed Bob Dole, but didn't). Bill could at least discuss policy specifics for hours and hours. Hillary can only speak in stale platitudes (e.g. - "I believe in a strong America..."). Except for her devoted following in New York City, California, Illinois and a couple of other enclaves, she is despised.
I think the best Democratic hope for capturing the White House is Bill Richardson. I hate to put race in the race, but he has the added benefit of being Hispanic. The second best hope would be Wesley Clark.

Barack Obama.
He has had more public service experience than he has been given credit for.
He started as a community activist in 1983, state senator (7 years) and now U.S. Senator for 2 years.
He has sponsored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427
While he was in the IL State Senate he crafted a bill that yielded over $100 million in tax cuts in a 3 year period. This makes him not fit the Republican label of the "tax and spend liberal".
Reviewing Obama's career in the Illinois Senate, a February 2007 article in the Washington Post noted his ability to work effectively with both Democrats and Republicans, and to build bipartisan coalitions. In his subsequent campaign for the U.S. Senate, Obama won the endorsement of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police, whose officials cited his "longtime support of gun control measures and his willingness to negotiate compromises," despite his support for some bills that the police union had opposed

No question I would vote for Hillary Clinton. It is painfully obvious she is the only candidate that can correct the last six years.

None of the above. Give me some people that actually would actually take the job seriously. I will vote for my dog before I would vote for Hitlery or Osama. The Dems have better people then them, they need to get them in the race.

I hope to be voting for Clinton with Obama as her VP. I like them both very much, but she has superior experience. Also, for him, this could be a great launching pad to a sure future as President, that is assuming he doesn't get the nomination this time. I am a Hillary fan, but it's entirely possible he could take it. Not likely, but possible.
I would vote for either candidate. They are very different, but it's almost as if they compliment each other - that is one of the reasons why I would like to see that ticket. Not just for the obvious reason that it would be almost impossible to beat.

Obama is quite unexperienced, and if you're talking about going into areas such as being the president of the United States, then you need A LOT of political experience before you jump in.
Having a woman as president is a nice thought (biased here, since I am a woman myself) but I just don't know what to think of Hillary. I don't think she's fit for the job.

Definitely Obama.
Hillary's experience is not that far beyond his...she has only been a Senator for 6 years longer and he was active in local politics in Illinois throughout that period.
And even more importantly, he lacks her political baggage and debts.
