My daughter is 14 weeks old and sounds very similar in size to your little one. My ped. says that my girl is in the 100% in length and 80% in weight. She is not worried about weight at all, but says she will be very tall. You girl sounds very healthy!!! Congrats!

Your baby is very normal. I had and still do have to buy bigger cloths for my son. He is 11 months and the 18 month is starting to get too short and he is not a fat baby either. The 18 month is getting short but the 24 month are falling off his bottom. His last appointment his doc said he's doing great. There is no normal weight or height and I also think that the people making the baby cloths don't know what they're doing when they make the sizes.

How big was she when she was born?

Average for a 3 month old girl is 9-16 pounds and 22 to 25 inches in length, so she sounds perfect.

Sure it's normal. Are you the same shape and size as every other woman in the world?

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. Some weigh more, some weigh less. Some are going to look older than they are, some will always be smaller. It makes us shorter, taller, bigger, or smaller as we grow into adults.

She's fine. If you're really concerned, talk to your doctor about it. But I really wouldn't panic. Be happy she's healthy.

she weighs just right for her, your doing a great job, stop worrying, every child is different, baby's go threw spurts, so there weight seems too much at times and not enough at others, it will all come together don't worry, I'm a mom to five, they all ate healthy yet some were heavy er then others at different times, but they are all strong healthy and not over or under weight now

my 4 mo. old daughter is 27 1/3 inches long and was 22 1/2 at birth there is nothing wrong. she is just tall. oh and mine weighs 17 lbs already too. and like yours she is just long not fat at all. is her daddy tall? is it in here genes? its all good. I also breastfeed and its good for them, if she is not fat then don't worry. the bigger they are the healthier they are and they seem to sleep better too!

Welcome to my world. My daughter is 11 months, still in a size 3 diapers. But if I want to put her in something 1 piece, it has to be 24 months!! She is SOOO tall. she has been that way forever too.......she is very long and very skinny.
Not sure if it is normal for everyone, but it was for us.
