i have a
sempron 2600+
1Gb RAM
radeon 9800 pro

I had to dumb down all settings to bare minimums to make it playable .. it looked decent, but the 'omfg WOW this is insane!!!' folks speak about were not attainable.

That said, playing on minimum spec with "crappy" gfx was still pretty solid .. it didn't look 'amazing', but it looked fine and played fine. if you are about eye candy and not gameplay, give it a skip until you have a high end pc. If you are more about gameplay, by all means do it up. The gameplay itself is top notch .. one of the best rpg's ever.
