Jealousy mostly. By people that do not apply themselves in school. They usually want good marks but do not want to study. To be called an egghead in school is not great. But guess who the people that call you egghead in school will end up working for...you guessed it...YOU...Bill gates was called an egghead...He is not called an egghead now. The adult world is a whole new ball game.
