I recently bought a susuki quad 450 about six months ago and rode it religiously twice a week (if not more). I'm getting ready to start a new job and have a strong feeling that my riding days will be over for some time...Any suggestions on how I can keep this bike in tip-top shape so when the time comes I'll be ridin dirty??? By the way, this quad rocks!!!!

keep the fuel tank full to avoid rust but add fuel stable start it once a month let it warm up put it up on blocks so the tires are off the ground let out most of the pressure and stp the tires to avoid dry rot cover the bike with a light breathable cloth to keep clean and avoid oxidation

Drain the gas tank and the carb(s), put in fresh oil. Put it up on blocks so the tires stay round and that's about it. I would every so turn over the motor a few times to keep the cylinder oiled....I had a 500 2stroke quad when I was younger ...freaking awsome!!

First and foremost, drain the gas all the way out of it. I mean the float bowl on the carb and everything. Second, get a battery tender and keep the battery charged (this device will keep tabs on it for you). run some fogging oil through it and you should be good to go

buy some Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer and a battery maintainer. The fuel stabilizer will keep the fuel in good shape. The battery maintainer will keep your battery charged.
