This is no joke, she really took off and I suspect she is in Alabama and we do have a joint account.

Cristanine ... You should consult with a lawyer, of course. While her taking the money may not be illegal, this may be the basis for civil action. I don't know what else can be done.
By the way, before she starts doing more damage, don't forget to close all your joint accounts. Life's a "beach" and then we die.
Good luck to you, sir.

No, he don't have her call on his account. there is different ordinary procedures to supply his daughter help, like a debit card. i'd experience deeply harm and experience as though I wasn't even an intensive 2nd terrific. i'd experience as though perhaps he could have stayed married to her, if he's going to try this and proceed to assist her. The daughter is 17, what happens whilst she turns 18 and the could help her is long gone? Will he nonetheless provide his ex funds? If he would not assist you like he helps his ex-spouse, i'd say sit down and communicate with him and make him come to an information of ways this impacts you. there is no could have her on the account nonetheless. Run up some severe charges and then he will see how high priced it fairly is to assist 2 wifeys. A**!

Well, that is a fine mess you are in. If you had a joint account, there is not alot you can do, that is why she was able to get all the funds out, but I think you need to hire an attorney and get legal advice. You could start divorce proceedings and sue her for half of the assets you accumulated during the marriage. She probably hid the money now and there is not alot you can do. Your best bet is getting a good divorce lawyer. He will advise you properly.

If it was joint then no and even if it weren't, you're married and that makes it her money too, sorry. What the hell did you do that would make her just up and leave? Think about that....You may be better off anyway so take it as an expensive mistake and move on. Get a good lawyer for your divorce and close all your other accts.!!

If you're serious, then it sounds to me like she's probably done it before.. married someone, took their money, then hauled ***.
Why do you think she did it? Do you abuse her??? Or, do you think she met some guy online and decided to "escape" her marriage, so she could spend all the money on some little boy toy?

Unfortunately for you, if your account was joint and only required one signer to get access to the money, she was allowed to take it. I work for a bank, and unfortunately this isn't the first time I've heard this. I'm sorry.

Welcome to the club.Mine got a little under 40 thousand before I figured out what was going on.The judge was all to happy to give her some more. If you don't have any proof of her taking it you may as well forget it.
