I wouldn't for sure try to live on the moon, even if someone assured me that it's the best experience on the world...It's a big risk I wouldn't like to take...What about you guys?
Bye!

Assuming that there was some sort of liveable situation there, like a space station, yes, I would. The lower gravity would make it much easier on my body. I am wheelchair-bound with severe osteo-arthritis. Lower gravity would make it a lot less painful, and a lot more likely that I could walk instead of sit in a wheelchair all the time.

I think you people that answer no air, too cold are just screwing around. I think certain things must be taken as being included as part of the question.

If given the chance I wouldn't like to live on the moon for a year assuming, of course, that travel is safe etc. I would miss the sun as it is on Earth, green pastures and all. I don't think I would like the experience.

I think we must think about the moon experiance with out considering the danger of getting there.

I'd try it for a week. Long enough to check out the Dark Side of the Moon and play my Pink Floyd CD of the same title while doing so....plus I'd like to skip around and jump on a surface with only 1/6 of the Earth's gravity.

WWWwheeeee.......

Yes, it would be lovely and relaxing and an interesting 'career break' on my cv...

...providing I had an annual travelcard so I could shuttle back and forth to Earth for music, clubs, girls, nice food (not that crappy stuff they drink out of a bag in space). Oh and I would need a broadband connection so I could log onto Answers, plus I'd like to invite my mates over for a while now and again.

How much is the rent and deposit?

i would live there but not for an year... there's so much to do here on earth but lets say for a month... i would go right now if someone offered the opportunity. I think it would be lonely if u only had a little human contact even though the view would be amazing.

Not only would I live there, but I would gladly build what I needed to live there, given the resources.
I would go because I trust we have the science to make it happen.
I would go because mankind has flourished when a pioneering spirit leads people away from the familiar.
I would go because the challenge is there.

Nope ... i haven't even been to half of the places on planet earth, so until the time comes when i can say for sure that i've "been there, done that", I think I'd stay put on home ground. Thanx but no thanx!
