That's because you haven't removed the old I/O plate, that was installed into your case, for the old motherboard. Motherboards aren't universal; that's why your new motherboard came with it's own plate, that's specifically built for it. Oh, and you don't need a new case.

Yep, as everyone said, you need a new case.

This time write down the name and model of your motherboard and when you go hunting for a new case ask the sellers whether the motherboard will fit the case.

Another tip for a new case, make sure there are USB ports at the front cos then it'll be much easier to attach and detach your USB stick.

Not too many good options 1. get another case 2. get out the Dremmel and start cutting 3. if the MB fits in the case you may be able to run your cables anyway but its not going to look good and a compromised case can affect your cooling. If it was me I would invest in a new case because it would drive me nuts knowing its done half way.

Ar you saying that your mouse/keyboard, etc. connections do not fit? You should have gotten another faceplate with your motherboard that will fit. Just push the other one back into the case - push the new one in from the inside.

new cases are not more than $35 with and without the power supply, unless you have a custom case then it can get expensive. If you can find a computer show, you may be able to find it cheaper....

New case is seeming to be the consensus.

Buy a different case. Do more research before you buy a certain product.
