someone came to my house and said they were my neighbor's niece, and that my neighbor was in trouble and needed money for a tow truck. i actually drove them to an atm and got the money.
later that week, i saw the neighbor. she doesn't have a niece.
i was a dope. but now i am smarter.

When my ex asked me to marry him..lol...just kidding......I'm pretty cautious actually. But I do know someone who fell for the "send me your banking information and I'll share all this money" scam

Some years ago this guy was selling this MIRACLE cleaner door to door and I fell for it. Plain water worked better, lol.

Years ago a friend of mine convinced me to join a gifting scheme, you give $100.00 to someone and then you are supposed to get other people to join and you will get your money back plus some based on how many people you get. Needless to say, I never got my money back.

it should be the incident where i revealed too much personal information to a sexy blond female interviewer, i get a really dumb door gift:- a packet of toilet tissue as a reward for my efforts...i never get what she promise, but i realize i was a victim of identity theft....
