I'm not putting you down for asking this question. It's a commonly held belief that there was a conspiracy behind the Kennedy assassination. Many of the answers you got illustrate my point about the human condition. Most people are freaking idiots. They draw incorrect conclusions based upon assumptions and misinformation. Here are some relavant facts.
The time elapsed between the first shot (that missed) and the fatal shot was about 5 and a half seconds. More than ample time. Get a rifle and try it if you don't believe me. The distance from the window in the book depository and Kennedy at the time of the headshot was about 88 yards. An easy shot. Marines pratice at a distance of 150 yards and headshots from 500 yards are not uncommon. Oswald was a good shot. The Zapruder film and the autopsy proved CONCLUSIVELY that Kennedy was hit twice FROM BEHIND. The left side of his head was intact. His body jerked forward for a split second as the bullets entered and then back as the bullets exited both times he was hit. Exactly what would happen if the shots came from behind every single time. No exceptions to the laws of physics. The bullet that passed through Kennedy's neck and hit Connelly did not change direction. It was the camera angle that made it look that way. The assassination was re-created in 1992 at the gunsite ranch in Arizona. EVERY shooter dupilcated or bettered Oswald's marksmanship. EVERY time. What he did was not only possible but quite unremarkable. These are indisputable facts. Bring out any irrelevant point you care to. There is absolutely NO credible evidence of any kind that points to a conspiracy. Going through life believing in nonsense will get you nowhere. Gather the facts and don't fill in the details yourself. Then draw a conclusion. The simplest answer is usually the correct answer. Even if the majority of people can't see it.

P.S. I know you said you think Oswald did it. Most people think there was more than one gunman and/or he was a patsy. I was addressing them more than you. Sorry if I offended you. Most likely, JFK was killed by an idiot with a rifle and that's all there was to it.

The people with the most to gain were Lyndon Johnson and the Rocafellers. It is possible that Oswald acted alone and the Government does not want us to know that one man killed a president (this does seem far fetched). Wealthy Businessmen also had much to gain from involvement in vietnam which Kennedy opposed.

As hard as it is to believe, Oswald probably acted alone. I can't say I've read the entire Warren Commission report. But I've listened and read about the investigations from many reliable sources. It does seem to point to the conclusion that ONLY Oswald was involved.

FUnding of Vietnam, bell choppers

Kennedy
Should I become President...I will not risk American lives...by permitting any other nation to drag us into the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time through an unwise commitment that is unwise militarily, unnecessary to our security and unsupported by our allies.

I am not sure Oswald did it! Did you see the enhanced tape where it shows 2 clean head shots to Kennedy being hit from the front and knocked backward! You can see them enter!

Oswald! He is dumber than Bush! And so was the Warren Commission!
