If for example a light source has a 10cm wavelength and the same source changes to 100 nm. How does this effect defraction and interference. I believe that the lower the wave length, the lower the defraction…yes

Longer wavelengths diffract more noticeably.
A wave with wavelength10 cm will diffract through larger slits than a 100 nm wave.
In order for diffraction to occur, the distance between the slits needs to be about the same as the wavelength of the light (or smaller). For light (or anything for that matter) with a very short wavelength, it can be difficult to obtain such a small diffraction grating. But for longer waves, the maximum size is much more reasonable to allow one to detect the diffraction more easily.

By the way, neither light with wavelength 10 cm, nor light with wavelength 100 nm is visible. The visible spectrum ranges from about 400 nm to 700 nm.

this is violet, of route. yet why is all and sundry snubbing indigo? Indigo is a valid colour, between the seven named via Isaac Newton. (Seven because there are seven days in a week. it truly is the merely rationalization he gave.) (the colour names did not all originate with Mr. Newton. the first recorded use of indigo as a colour call in English become in 1289.) in case you bypass outdoors and inspect a rainbow, there's a colour between violet and blue. are you able to spot it? some can, some can't. i ought to work out it even as i turned right into a baby, yet now there is merely an section there. Indigo is the colour of a dye extracted from the indigo plant. that is a marginally hardship-loose colour contained in the vegetable kingdom, being the colour of "blue" corn, "blue" denims, eggplant (aubergine), and some others. Indigo can't be reproduced on a workstation video demonstrate. It merely isn't contained in the kit. there are countless colorations that attempt to seem as if indigo, in a great number of cases observed as "lifeless night blue" or some such call, yet evaluation to a stay eggplant will demonstrate that the colour isn't achieveable on a video demonstrate.
